LED Lighting – How It Can Benefit Churches?

There are two main reasons why churches in Glasgow, Edinburgh & across Scotland are moving to LED lighting (or have made the change already).

Church LEDs: Is It Worth Making The Switch?

A lot of churches are still using lighting systems that were installed a long time ago. In the past, down-lights were very popular but can lead to congregations feeling unhappy with the amount of light produced or the overall ambience of the church. In addition to this, older lights are very inefficient in terms of cost, as they use far more electricity to produce light than LEDs. With a far shorter shelf-life, they need to be replaced more frequently, which results in much higher maintenance costs for the church. As bulbs age, the light becomes dimmer & can lead to uneven lighting in a church.
