Warehouse LED Design, Installation & Maintenance
Warehouse LED Lighting Contractors
NICEIC Approved
LED lighting is becoming a “must do” for warehouses in Glasgow, Edinburgh & all over Scotland. Traditional ‘High Bay’ and ‘Fluorescent’ warehouse lighting is expensive, and LEDs can reduce energy bills by up to 70%.
We work with warehouses to initially assess their requirements & current energy consumption through a free lighting & energy audit. We then design & propose an LED lighting solution that ticks all the boxes in terms of reducing costs, carbon footprint, H&S and delivering the optimum lighting for the warehouse to operate.
Our solutions can range from simple retro-fits & upgrades to new installations.
Reduce Energy Costs
Energy efficient LED lighting can reduce energy bills by up to 70%, which quickly recovers any costs.
Reduced Maintenance Costs
We only specify & install high-quality products, which can reduce traditional maintenance costs by up to 75%.
Better Light Quality
The improved illumination that comes with LEDs, can aid productivity & increase safety.
Occupancy Sensors
By combing sensors with LEDs, warehouse lights are triggered by people or vehicles, which further reduces power consumption.
Warehouse LED Lights: Why are the savings so significant?
We’ve already mentioned the inefficiency & cost of “high bay” & “fluorescent” lighting. However, the main cost usually comes from the hours of operation – often 24hrs, with lights burning for the whole time. You then need to factor in the lower lifespan of metal halide & fluorescent lighting.
Inefficient lights (that use more power), that are burning continuously & need more maintenance all add up to high energy costs.

LED lighting technology provides many benefits thanks to the new industrial products available. A modern LED light fitting can provide an impressive lifetime of 50,000 hours (5+ years), which brings with it a huge reduction (up to 75%) in maintenance costs over traditional lighting.
We combine industrial LED light fittings with smart dimming controls and occupancy detection. This means that lights are only triggered by vehicles or people. An additional benefit of LED lighting, is that they switch in instantly i.e. there is no warm-up / cool down when lights come on or off.
Ultimately, a warehouse is left with an efficient lighting solution that uses minimum power with the maximum light output. We then complete a second audit to confirm the energy & carbon reduction.

Summary of benefits provided by using LED lights in warehouses
- Reduced power & energy costs
- Reduced maintenance costs (up to 70%)
- Carbon footprint reduced
- Brighter warehouse – a better & safer working environment
- Increase productivity (less picking & packing errors)
- Smart control systems to manage lighting
- Instant “lights-on” (no delay with LED lights)
