Project: Church Cross Feature Lighting
Date: September, 2025
Client: Millerston Church – The Church By The Loch
Location: Ayrshire
Project Detail
This project was carried out at Millerston Church – The Church by the Loch, in Glasgow, with the aim of enhancing the visual impact of a prominent architectural feature on the exterior wall of the building.
Our work focused on adding subtle, high-quality feature lighting to the wall-mounted cross, creating a warm and striking effect while remaining sympathetic to the character of the church.
Our work included:
Carefully removing the existing wall-mounted cross
Routing the rear frame to allow for concealed lighting
Installing a warm white IP68 LED strip within the frame
Reinstating the cross with the new integrated lighting in place
The completed installation provides a soft, warm glow that enhances the feature without overpowering its surroundings, creating a striking visual effect that complements the exterior of the church.
