This project was carried out for a football club in Ayrshire, with the aim of restoring reliable floodlighting and ensuring the installation was safe and compliant ahead of continued use.

The site had 8 x 15m floodlight columns, however 6 of the floodlights were not operating correctly, affecting light levels on the pitch.

Our work included:

• Dropping all floodlight columns to safely inspect and diagnose faults
• Identifying issues with 6 non-operational floodlights
• Repairing 2 floodlights on site during the initial visit
• Carrying out the annual Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) at the same time
• Ordering replacement fittings, with a return visit scheduled to complete the remaining repairs

By combining fault-finding, repairs, and statutory testing into one visit, we helped minimise disruption while ensuring the installation remains safe and compliant.
