Client: Millerston Church – The Church By The Loch
Project: LED Lighting Upgrade
Date: April 2024
Location: Glasgow
Project Detail
We worked with Millerston Church (The Church By The Loch) to carry out a comprehensive overhaul of their lighting. The main aim of the project was to improve the quality of lighting in some rooms, lower the energy costs & also reduce their carbon footprint. This is an overview of our work:
- Church sanctuary: 6 x 265w son floodlights upgraded to 6 x 150 LED high bay lights, complete with polycarbonate refractor to reduce glare. We also upgraded 2x 50w LED floodlights with 2 x 100w LED high bay lamps, in a new position.
- Large hall corridor: 5ft fluorescent lights were upgraded to 5ft single batten LEDs, complete with individual PIR sensors.
- Foyer: 9 x 30w 2D fluorescent lights were upgraded to 14w LEDs.
- Rear gallery: 3 x 30w 2D fluorescent lights were upgraded to 14w LEDs.
- Corridor: a damaged 9w compact fluorescent lamp was replaced with a 14w LED light.
While we still have some photos to add to the gallery, you can click here to view a number of images in the project gallery which shows what a difference we have made to the quality of lighting.
