Remedial Work (Failed EICR)

A large furniture warehouse & distribution centre in Glasgow recently failed an EICR (Electrical Condition Inspection Report) & these were the remedial works:

• The isolator & socket had failed as there was no RCD protection. This was upgraded to a new interlocking isolator with RCD protection.
• A button was missing on the control panel for an electrical shutter. As a temporary measure, we filled the holed with a bolt (to stop fingers from going into the control panel) & fitted an emergency stop switch.
