This was an interesting project, in which we upgraded the swimming pool lighting at a swimming pool in Lanarkshire.

In the initial upgrade, Son floodlights were upgraded to LED IP68 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Light Fittings which are perfect for harsh & corrosive environments. This work was carried out over three nights, which allowed the swimming pool to remain open to the public.

Measurable improvements:

• -45% energy reduction
• +15% light level increase

We returned to the pool in March 2022 for some general maintenance (upgrading some light fittings & a new lamp installed) & to carry out some scheduled testing.
