We were delighted to work with Broomhill Lawn Tennis & Squash Club to improve the lighting on their outdoor courts. The aims of this project were to improve the energy-efficiency of the floodlights, improve the quality of the lighting & the speed at which lights turned on. The club’s existing metal halide lights which took 11 mins to turn on!

Our work included:

• Ensuring safe acess to the courts for scissor-lift, without damaging the surface

• Removing the 2kW metal halide lights from 16 x 10m poles

• Installing 665kW new LED lights

Following this upgrade, the courts now enjoy a sharper, white light. Importantly, there should be an energy (and cost) saving of at least 67%. The warm-up time has also been reduced from 10-11 minutes to less than 3 seconds!
